Test Management
Testing Management Office (TMO) Creation
Created a TMO for large implementation programs, including development of governance models for testing and reporting metrics. Developed a Test Data Management tool to improve data provisioning efficiency. Standardized test case and script creation with testing repository and developed Test Reporting between the test tool and PowerBI for more effective and interactive communications.
Enterprise Test Strategy
Developed a test strategy involving the right tools to use, how to structure the teams, standardizing test processes, supporting test schedules, and coordinating the successful execution of the test plan and strategy.
Field Service Implementation Test Services
Developed extensive test management for new mobile workforce management system and related automated solutions. Provided test strategy, created test cases, scripts and conducted end to end testing of application and mobile products for a Field Service Delivery program for electric and gas consumers.
CIS replacement project Test Services
Overall Test Manager for a large scale CIS replacement to SAP S/4 HANA. Led all planning and mobilization activities including setting up a TMO, developing an overall test strategy, creating resource plans, off-shore resource coordination, implementing test automation, and providing seamless integration with a larger implementation team. Established best practices and a support model for multi geographical test organizations.
Offshore Test Competency Center
Developed a delivery center, maintaining a diverse set of cost-effective testing resources to provide test support for test script creation, functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression and integration testing, test automation, and other ancillary services.
Emergency Management System (EMS) Testing
Services
Led extensive testing efforts for functional, end-to- end, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for multiple modules in a new Enablon EMS system. Ensured quality and stability of the base product and its enhanced configurations for optimal user experience and adoption.
Data Migration & Conversion
EMS Data Migration & Conversion
Migrated and converted 2.3 million data records from both structured and unstructured sources (including Sharepoint, Excel, Cority and SAP) to a centralized repository to ensure data quality and governance.
AI & Advanced Technologies Enablement
Contact Center of the Future
PM role to help implement a solution leveraging Amazon Connect for a new conversational IVR system with SAP C4C integration, offering advanced CSR scripting and automated workflows to monitor the customer journey and to provide advanced analytics. Enhanced the agent experience and supported customer digital transformation with smart chat and AI-enabled functionality, and other optimization initiatives.
Cloud Migration
Provided complete support in utility’s migration of Emergency Operations Center (EOC) automation and dashboard initiatives to Amazon Web Services (AWS), including developing functionality within the AWS platform. Also managed the Administration module for the EOC migration and provided post implementation support for bugs, triage, and enhancements.
Artificial Intelligence
Conducted high-level initial assessment on feasibility of implementing AI to improving billing operations, including smart chat-bots to assist CSRs in handling billing issues, targeting data extracts to facilitate billing exception management including high bill issues, and developing online self-service tools for customers to use in rate comparison.
Strategic Advisory
Billing & MDM Replacement Assessment
Strategic assessment and recommendations of replacement options and move-forward strategy for Billing and Meter Data replacement – consisted of current and future state business process analysis, comprehensive functional and technical requirements, and identification of process improvement opportunities for future state.
Multi-phased Billing & MDM Replacement
Provided a range of strategic services over 2.5 years to assist customer with their replacement of a wholesale power billing system and integrated meter data management system.
- Phase 1: Options analysis for replacement.
- Phase 2: Production of an extensive RFP that included software, contractual, legal, and project implementation requirements.
- Phase 3: Generation of a vendor evaluation model and scoring matrix.
- Phase 4: PM for the implementation, ensuring that the vendor was meeting functionality and schedule requirements, that the SOW and deliverables were being met, and that the project communications and stakeholders were effectively managed.
Smart Meter/AMI Roadmap and Strategy
Developed a long-term strategy required for full deployment of Smart Metering in service territory; generated functional and technical requirements for AMI/MDM Solution, created a multi-phase implementation plan and solution architecture, and generated integration architecture outlying key integration points and data flows.
Customer Identity Validation
Analyzed internal and external options and presented findings to stakeholders and multiple departments. Subsequently, developed a comprehensive plan for an online identity validation solution ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear, risks are mitigated, and regulatory and legal impacts are minimized.
Consumer Privacy Initiatives
Advisory services centered around process implementation and business transformation for legal, compliance and data governance purposes. Led requirements gathering, QA & Production Testing, and inventory of enterprise consumer data to ensure compliance with state mandated regulations.
Enterprise Safety Strategy
Developed a strategic roadmap for Enterprise Safety applications; roadmap provided both technical and landscapes around EHSM (Enterprise Health & Safety Management system) and supporting applications; delivered a future state strategy and phased implementation timeline.
Software Vendor Assessment & Optimization
Analyzed and assessed vendor’s software development life cycle (SDLC) and made recommendations for improvement and optimization. Documented optimal processes for software releases, patches, bug fixes, and enhanced functionality requests; assessed SDLC operations, evaluated gaps between vendor and industry best practices to produce a Capabilities Maturity Model (CMM), and recommended strategy to address gaps.
Change Management
Environmental Management System Implementation
Developed extensive training materials and conducted more than 50 end user training sessions to ensure seamless transition and adoption of the new tool. Developed and executed clear communication strategy to ensure relevance and clarity with adequate stakeholder involvement.
OCM Services for multiple Customer Programs
Conducted change management assessments, prepared risk mitigation tactics, created plans to manage anticipated resistance, developed change management sessions and training programs, prepared stakeholder management communications, and led business and system process review and documentation efforts for future state.
CIS migration initiative
As part of modernization efforts for customer privacy (consent to share), created an overall training plan, conducted training for 100+ end users, and created comprehensive user manuals for internal and external users.
